5-hour Energy comes in a long line of different kinds,
including decaf and extra strength!!
RECOMMENDED USE: Drink one half (1/2) bottle for moderate
energy. Drink one whole bottle for maximum energy. Do not exceed two bottles of
5-hour ENERGY® shots daily, consumed several hours apart. Use or
discard any remainder within 72 hours (three days) after opening. Refrigeration
not required.
CAUTION: Contains caffeine comparable to a cup of the
leading premium coffee. Limit caffeine products to avoid nervousness,
sleeplessness, and occasional rapid heartbeat. You may experience a Niacin Flush
(hot feeling, skin redness) that lasts a few minutes. This is caused by
increased blood flow near the skin.
Do not take if you are pregnant or nursing, or under 12
years of age. If you are taking medication and/or have a medical condition,
consult your doctor before use.
Phenylketonurics: Contains phenylalanine.
A few days ago, I had received my 5-hour energy product in the mail, to try out and write a review. I waited for a day like today where I was extra tired from lack of sleep to give this thing a shot.
Boy was I surprised, It actually worked!
Took about 20mins for it to cycle threw my system, but I felt alive and awake. I wasn't sleepy at all. Now I didn't time myself, which maybe I should have, but each persons body system is different. Mine, well I'm guessing the shot of energy lasted me a little more than 5 hours. Not by much, but a little. I never hit a crash point. I never felt the need to take another. Which was what I was worried about. In the passed, I have had repeated bottles of like monster or rockstar, just to last me through the day. There was no need for any of that. I like how convenient it is. I carried it in my pocket until I hit that point of either this or sleep. :) I'm glad I chose the energy shot.
The flavor I got was pomegranate. Has a sweet but interesting taste. No after taste at all. I love pomegranate anything, but i think this was a little too sweet. I think next time I have a 5-hour energy that I will go for like the orange or lemon-lime. Give that a shot and hopefully it won't taste like it did.
It wasn't a nasty taste, just sweet.
I have already told my friends to definitely give 5-hour energy a shot.
Most have come back and told me that it worked for them too, instead of energy drinks themselves.
The best part about it all, you can buy them just about anywhere.
